KC puts as much attention into choosing venues as possible. Very few are constructed to support the act of music, and the acts of music which are considered are mainly those of the European concert tradition. To get a coincidence of venue, timing, tour & revenue is unlikely at best. To plan a tour is very hard: there are so many variables.

Hooray! The Horse has called from England. My fax woke her up.

Astonishing synchronicity. Back from the gig, I straightaway called Toyah on her mobile. Then, saying goodbye until tomorrow, I turned on BBC World. There she was! Toyah & her father Beric on the BBC Holiday programme, sailing the Midland canals on a barge. This is a very touching episode, showing the closeness of father & daughter.
Good audience in Yokohama: half full 2400 theatre. The band are getting their ears into venues this size. The supportive audience helped considerably. We had the barricades between the front row of seats & the stage removed: we've come a long way to embrace the audience, so this visual & physical barrier is not part of our performance world.
Masa Matsuzaki excused himself from coming to the show tonight: it's the 7th. wedding anniversary of Masa & Miho. He came to see us off to the gig from the hotel lobby. How could anyone prefer to spend time with their spouse on their 7th. wedding anniversary than going to a Crimson show? Congratulations from the Crimsons to Miho & Masa.
